Water Treatment
Domestic Hot & Cold Systems
Domestic hot and cold water systems are subject to problems of corrosion, scale deposition and microbiological growth. Scale inhibitors provide a threshold treatment, suitable for use over a broad pH range and considered to be the most economical and practical method for providing protection to domestic hot and cold water systems. The regular treatment with the scale inhibitors will minimize the reduction in water flow which may occur in associated pipe work resulting from the accumulation of scale. Corrosion inhibitors are specially designed for use in domestic hot and cold systems as they form a thin protective film on the surface of metals and disrupt the action of active corrosion cells. The dosage levels for each product will be decided upon water quality, system conditions and operational factors. Microbiological growth in domestic hot and cold water systems is controlled through best suited chlorination systems and consultation according to the needs of every system. All of the provided products and services satisfy fully the British Standards BS 5750: Part 1 - 1987, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, QAS / 25 / 253 and BS 2486 - 1997. They are also approved as food-grade chemicals therefore can be used without any concerns. Our specialized chemical engineers and chemists with a vast experience and knowledge on how each treatment program affects your system will be at your disposal to apply the appropriate chemicals to meet your requirements.
